The Weekly Parable: Christian Short Stories
This week's story
The Ledger
For thirty years Daniel Fourie wrote down every cent his customers owed him. Then a widow came in to settle her husband's account, and he remembered a debt of his own.
Every week I publish one short story. Each is small enough to read over a cup of coffee and, I hope, true enough to stay with you a little longer. The stories are fiction, but the questions in them are real ones: how to forgive, how to keep hoping, how to pray when the words run out.
